Get up from the bed in the morning is a very tough work, especially for those who are always late to bed, and have to rush in the morning. I find out that it is harder for me to wake up in the morning and get to work on time, as I need to spend much time on putting makeup. Therefore, I always try to find the easy technique to put on makeup as well as the product that is easy for applying in hand.

It’s the first and foremost step of my makeup that I can’t miss. Taking care of the lip is essential since I have a very dry lip. Lip balm can give more moisturize to the lip and also make it softer and easier to when it comes to apply the lipstick. My favorite lip balm is DHC, a Japanese brand, which is organic and most importantly is it contains olive oil, which helps to soften the lip.
2. Sunscreen
Well, I can’t skip this step no matter how rush I am since I know how harmful the UV rays would bring to my skin. My favorite sunscreen is Dr. G Gowoonseasang UV Block Sunscreen (well, the name is quite long though), normally I call it Dr. G sunscreen. Using this sunscreen, not only it can help to protect from harmful UV rays, it also has a nice coverage (with white cream texture) which I consider it can cover up to 20% of blemish. 3. BB cushion
Because I don’t have enough time, finding the right product with the best result is what the solution is. Hence, I would highly recommend using BB cushion. It works great with the coverage and also giving a smooth and bright looking skin. Here is the BB cushion that I have used and want to recommend.

Etude House, a Korean cosmetic, is well known for its good quality and affordable price. This Etude House BB cushion holds the makeup for the whole day without turning your face to cakey look. It has light color yet very good coverage to cover the blemishes on the skin and give a smooth flawless skin. As I have an oily skin, this cushion can last for around 4 hours. 4. Eyebrow Pencil
Talking about eyebrow, there is a variety of product that I have used; however, what I like the most is VDL Eyebrow Pencil. As I need to finish the makeup in seconds (actually around 10 minutes), I have to find any brow pencil with dual functions, pencil and brush. VDL brow pencil has quite a few options to choose from the color, Brown and Grey Brown color is my most favorite color. It is very soft and mostly matches with my hair color, so it makes my brow look super super natural. For the brush of the pencil, it is the softest eyebrow brush I have ever encountered. The brush would smooth down the harshness of the color and make the brow look more natural look.
5. Eye shadow
For daily makeup, light pink and light brown colors are the safest color. I recommend using a small eye shadow palette rather a big of eye shadow palette. The reason is that you don’t have to spend much time on choosing the color as it is the custom color for your everyday makeup. EM (Michelle Phan) eye shadow is my favorite of all palettes. A small compact of the palette comes in 6 colors, which each color is nicely designed for your preference. It’s quite a shimmery eye shadow, so make sure you choose the right matte color before deciding to buy.
6. Eyeliner
If you are expert in drawing eyeliner, using liquid eyeliner is a good choice. I’m using Maybelline New York Eye Studio liquid eyeliner. As I have oily eyelids, I need to find any liner, which can stay for the whole day. Typically, this liner can stay for 10 hours with my oily eyelid and the humidity weather I live in. Another key point that I love about this product is the intense color of the liner. Believe me, practice will make it perfect.
7. Loose Powder
If you want to have a bright skin like the Korean star, you can skip this step because we already used the BB cushion, which makes the skin look flawless and bright. However, as I have oily skin, I have to apply small amount of loose powder to make sure it does not look too greasy. I’m using Dermablend loose powder. It works well to control the oil at the T-zone and keeps the makeup last longer.
8. Lipstick
Remember that we are already applied the lip balm from the beginning of the makeup? Now it comes to the last part of makeup, applying lipstick. I love using any lipstick that contains more moisturizes so that it would not dry out my lip. Innisfree lipstick is a very creamy lipstick with a very nice color.
